Oh yeah..

Sep. 18th, 2005 | 10:23 am

I can't stop obsessing over this. It's the new(ish) AVI Integrated amp. 175w per channel, real man's power that is (or so the magazine told me).

I feel like a child. It will be mine, for Christmas! I gotta save £1500 though. It's an expensive hobby.. and a sort of dumb one.

Wann it

Pizza Love

Sep. 18th, 2005 | 10:15 am
music: Iron & Wine - Bird Stealing Bread

So last night I went out for dinner with Olli. We'd originally planned to go and see Sufjan Stevens but realised it's not until NEXT month, aren't we clever? We decided to go out somewhere local, and where better than Pizza Express in Sidcup? Man, I love that place. Honestly, I challenge anywhere to cook me a better pizza. We had a bottle of red (naturally) here before we went out, and bought a few beers there, I loved it. Really good night, but what REALLY did it for me was this..

Going out to Bromley today, My money doesn't clear until next week so I'm pretty poor right now. If anyone wants to buy me the next series of the Sopranos on DVD, be my guest.

Change is good. Orpington is bad.

Sep. 17th, 2005 | 04:53 pm

Change is really good. Look how nice my page looks, even though it's some default layout .. I like it. Today I went to Orpington with Olli, Col and Zoe - jesus, we all felt so depressed within 2 minutes of getting there.. it really is one big pile of shit. Everyone is so stupid looking, it's a town of inbreds I swear. We went to a second hand bookshop to stock up on some resources, couldn't really find much apart from a few old American magazines (from the 1930's, cool eh?). What made me laugh was the pikey family having a smoke in the middle of the shop, hard to believe I know. They were sitting around this table drinking tea and puffing away in their Aston Villa football shirts (Mum, Dad and two kids - all matching), then decided it'd be a good idea to play their children a new "hilarious" ringtone full of bad language which the entire shop was lucky enough to hear.

Had a burger king, yeah - I know I'm fat.. then we left quickly. Nice chips.

Going out for dinner tonight to Sidcup, it's gonna be fun! Got some wine to drink here first though.

Right, I'm outta here ... I'll post some more pictures soon..

OK so I never got round to that update I promised, mainly because I only write in here when I feel inspired by someone else's blog. No seriously, it's true.

I've been in London since Monday, having a good time, although I should probably go easy on the drink, I've had so much wine this week, every day is a blur. Been eating lots of good food, enjoying the very last few days of summer pretty much. Christmas soonish. Kinda.

So, I've been following the PDC05 thing quite closely this week, reading up on Windows Vista etc - it's quite exciting. I'm a proper nerd sometimes. I love the hype these huge companies build up before a release, although Microsoft have nothing on Apple - clever launching the iPod Nano and iTunes 5 at the same time.

Alaska is picking up again, got some cool work on at the moment, but I'll show you that nearer the time. Gotta go out and rob some second hand bookshops tomorrow though, could do with some new resources! You can check out the new Johnny Truant shirts here

I've been digging through some old bookmarks this week and remembered how funny MADDOX is (http://maddox.xmission.com/)

How can you not love this? Read it now, he's very funny.

I'm gonna try and post more photos on here.. I'm lazy.

That'll do for now. Subscribe to Digg RSS if you haven't already, it's great for everything tech related.

Saturday Morning

Jul. 9th, 2005 | 11:55 am

I'm so bored already today, I feel like it's going to be a long slow day. I think I might write some more music. Speaking of music, there's a new Lemon Tree track online, which you can hear @ Myspace (The Lemon Tree). Any comments, opinions, whatever - it's all appreciated.

In other news, I worked hard yesterday getting the Cryforsilence website together.

How good is Olli's voice?!?!

Oh yeah, go and see War Of The World's this weekend - if I had to see one film on a big screen, this would be it, incredible.
